My name is Matt Jaeck and I'm a licensed Home Inspector in the great State of Wisconsin. I am the owner of a Multi-Inspector firm operating in Southeastern Wisconsin. We have a great team at HSH and we LOVE what we do!
I grew up in Germantown, which is a small town just a little northwest of Milwaukee. Today my family and I call Hartford home and this is where Tami and I have lived since 2009 and have raised our two sons.
I passed both the Wisconsin Statutes and Rules Exam as well as the National Home Inspectors Exam. I'm also a licensed FAA Part 107 pilot and I have a combined 19 years of experience in the construction industry as a laborer, contractor, and business owner. I'm a very meticulous and mechanically inclined person, which has allowed me to really shine as a home inspector. As a part of my education, I got a Masters Degree from Carroll College and a Bachelors Degree from the University of Wisconsin Stout.
I did my professional Home Inspector Training at ITA Home Inspector Training School in Minnesota. Prior to being a home inspector, I was a teacher for 13 years teaching construction and engineering courses in Menomonee Falls and I'm now retired. Inspecting homes while running my company is my full-time gig. I have 9 years of experience in property management and maintenance at facilities ranging from 32 units to 128 units, which is where I learned a lot about the different systems in a home. I worked closely with a wide variety of contractors that came to improve what I couldn't and they taught me a ton.
In business I truly adhere to my three business pillars of providing a great product, at an excellent price, with superior customer service and support even when it may not be best for my bottom line. I'm a member of the following professional organizations and adhere to their high standards of excellence: ASHI - American Society of Home Inspectors My ASHI profile
WAHI - Wisconsin Association of Home Inspectors My WAHI profile
